The AIAS is eager to develop partnerships with academic, cultural, advocacy, business, and government groups with a focus on the United States and its place in the global community. AIAS is partners with the Canada Institute of the Woodrow Wilson International Center on the Alberta Scholars Program, which enables University of Alberta faculty to present policy-relevant research at the Center’s facilities in Washington, DC.
The Institute partners with the Hudson Institute to deliver seminars on American politics and public policy processes to Canadian policymakers and has delivered conferences in conjunction with the Centre for Strategic and International Studies.
In the area of border studies, the Institute maintains working relationships with the North American Centre for Transborder Studies at Arizona State University and the Border Policy Research Institute at Western Washington University.
